I m trying to fix my drier side door handle on 2009 ford focus. Disconnect the window switch wiring harnesses. Now remove all the screws along the outer edge of the trim panel lift the panel off the door and turn it upwards at the rear to completely remove it. Pry up the panel in the door pull to expose the bolts underneath.

Pry off the trim piece inside the door handle with a flat blade screwdriver remove the six t20 torx screws from around the door panel remove the t20 torx screw inside the door handle pry off the door handle bezel. Removing the outer handle once the door s trim panel is removed remove the side impact bolster by rotating it counterclockwise to free it from its retaining clips. Uninstall the door latch and disconnect it from the door latch rod. Remove the two 7mm bolts from inside the door pull.

Pry off the window switch panel by hand. Remove the t2 torx bolt inside the door handle. Remove the six t20 torx bolts from the door panel perimiter. Pry off the door pull trim with a flat blade screwdriver.
