Your sliding glass door may have a doorstop that covers the inside edge of the door frame.
Remove the sliding screen door by tilting the top toward you then lifting it up out of the bottom track.
You will find the head stop attached to the top track of your sliding glass door.
Carefully lift the door up until it s free from the tracks and then have your partner help you tilt it slightly to remove the door from the upper track.
Lift up on the door until the rollers clear the bottom rail and pull inward.
Remove the screws that hold the fixed door in place in the sliding door tracks.
Remove this cap because as you ll notice it is covering a gap inside of which is a screw.
Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the threshold and unscrew the top middle and bottom brackets.
Then use your screwdriver to unscrew the head stop located at the top of the door frame.
Once you remove it be careful not to let the door fall over.
